U8108 GREYMARE HILL JUNCTION TO WOODHEAD WHITTONSTALL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8108 Greymare Hill Junction to Woodhead Whittonstall from its junction with B6309 Whittonstall Village heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 65 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd April 2026 until the 24th April 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 22nd April 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th April 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8108, U8110, C261, B6309 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

C198 LANEHEAD TO HARESHAW TARSET (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C198 Lanehead To Hareshaw from its junction with C200 Tarset Bridge To Stannersburn heading in an eastwards direction for a distance of 250 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 20th April 2026 until the 20th August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th April 2026 and the 19th June 2026; the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C198, C199, B6320, A68, A6088, B6357, C200 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U8174 BEAUFRONT WOODHEAD FARM TO STAGSHAW BANK SANDHOE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8174 Beaufront Woodhead Farm To Stagshaw Bank its junction with Sandhoe Tynedale District Footpath 03 heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 750 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd April 2026 until the 1st May 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 22nd April 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st May 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8174, A68, C241, U8186 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:

B6295 Sparty Lea to Allendale from its junction with Garret’s Hill Bank in a north-westerly direction for a length of 3800m.

B6295 Wentworth Place from its point with B6295 Sparty Lea to Allendale to its junction with Wentworth Park in a northerly direction for a length of 70m.

The Order is to be effective from the 9th April 2026 until the 9th October 2026. Work will be carried out in weather-dependant phases. Phase 1 & 2 Pre-surface dressing patching and civils, Phase 3 Surface dressing, Phase 4 Lock chip, Phase 5 White lining and road studs.

It is expected that the road will only be closed for Phase 1 & 2 on 9th April 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00; however, the order will remain in place until 9th October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6295, A689, A686, B6305 and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C312 Bardon Mill To Bradleygate from its junction with the A69 for a distance of 365 metres in a northerly direction.

C307 Park Lane for its entire length C307 Park Lane To Twice Brewed for its entire length.

C312 Bardon Mill To Bradleygate from its junction with C307 Park Lane for a distance of 207 metres in a north easterly direction.

U7056 Huntercrook Junction To Parkhead Junction from its junction with C307 Park Lane for a distance of 310 metres in a southerly direction.

C309 Henshaw To Park Lane from its junction with C307 Park Lane for a distance of 500 metres in a south-easterly direction.

U7055 Seasides Junction To Chesterholm Junction from its junction with C307 Park Lane To Twice Brewed for a distance of 1110 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order is to be effective from the 8th April 2026 until the 8th October 2026.

Work will be carried out in weather dependant phases. Phase 1 & 2 Pre-surface dressing patching and civils, Phase 3 Surface dressing, Phase 4 Lock chip, Phase 5 White lining and road studs.

It is expected that the road will only be closed for Phase 1 and 2 on the 8th April 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6318, U7051, A69, C310, C309, U7058, U7059 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9046 Plough Inn Junction to River Pont Junction Eachwick from its junction with the C343 to its junction with Stamfordham Castle Morpeth Footpath 017 for a length of 1180 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 7th April 2026 until the 7th October 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 7th April 2026 until the 9th April 2026 between the hours of 08:00–16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 7th October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C345 C343 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland:

• A68 Carterway Heads to Kilnpit Hill Carterway Heads from its junction with U8086 Millshields Junction to Shotleyfield Plantation Junction heading in a northerly direction for a distance of 2650 metres.

• A68 Kilnpit Hill to Scales Cross from its junction with A68 Carterway Heads to Kilnpit Hill Carterway Heads heading in a northerly direction for a distance of 1800 metres.

• C266 Barley Lodge to Barley Hill Junction from its junction with A68 Carterway Heads to Kilnpit Hill Carterway Heads heading in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 225 metres.

• U8213 Barley Lodge Link Road from its junction with A68 Carterway Heads to Kilnpit Hill Carterway Heads heading in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 140 metres.

• C263 Hammermill Lane Junction to Unthank from its junction with A68 Carterway Heads to Kilnpit Hill Carterway Heads heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 150 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 10th April 2026 until the 10th October 2026.

Works will be carried out in weather-dependant phases:

Phase 1 & 2 – Pre-surface dressing patching and civil works

Phase 3 – Surface dressing works

Phase 4 – Lock chip works

Phase 5 – White lining and road stud works

It is expected that the roads will only be closed for Phase 1 & 2 on 10th April 2026 between the hours of 09:30 & 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A68, A695, B6307, B6306, C268, C266, C265, A694, A1, A692 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
