Locksway Road - Temporary Footpath Closure

Portsmouth City Council (Locksway Road) (Temporary Footpath Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.71) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 20th April 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
MORGAN ROAD FOOTPATH SIDE OF 30 LEADING TO STOWE ROAD
In its entirety.
PLEASANT ROAD FOOTPATH SIDE OF 27 LEADING TO STOWE ROAD
In its entirety.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
STOWE ROAD
From outside No. 15 to outside No.29.
MORGAN ROAD
From outside No.15 to outside No.31.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate BT works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 20th April 2026 to 8th May 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted from Pleasant Road to Locksway Road to Stowe Road and to Morgan Road.
