T830

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intends to install a Zebra pedestrian crossing across Worsley Bridge Road, Beckenham.

Schedule - Zebra Crossing & Pedestrian Refuge

Worsley Bridge Road (both sides)

• from its junction of the mini roundabout on Station Approach / Montana Gardens in a south-easterly direction for an approximate distance of 28 metres.

Statement of the Council’s Reasons

The crossing is being installed to facilitate the passage of pedestrians crossing Worsley Bridge Road, particularly for users of the station and local shops and amenities.

It also aims to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and prevents the likelihood of any such dangers arising.
