NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 (BUNTINGFORD 35) DIVERSION ORDER 2026
The above order was made on 12th March 2026. The effect of this order will be to divert the public footpath from TL 3563 3018 then N for approx 15m to TL 3563 3019 then WNW along the southern side of the watercourse for approx 85m to TL 3555 3022 to a line from TL 3563 3018 then WNW for approx 80m to TL 3556 3020 then NW and NNW for approx 20m to TL 3555 3022 as shown on the order plan.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WARREN LANE, COTTERED) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Warren Lane, Cottered from a point 70m south east of its junction with B1037 (unnamed road) south eastwards for a distance of approximately 25m (“the Road”).
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because electrical works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 10 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 6 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WEST END ROAD, WORMLEY) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of West End Road, Wormley from its junction with Church Lane south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 131m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Church Lane, A1170 (High Road/ Great Cambridge Road), B156 (Halfhide Lane/Brookfield Lane West), Flamstead End Road, Park Lane, Park Lane Paradise, Holy Cross Hill and West End Road.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 21 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF 3U185 (UNNAMED ROAD), HERTFORD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U185 (unnamed road), Hertford from a point in line with the southern boundary of ‘Lambourn’ north eastwards for a distance of approximately 100m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via 3U185 (unnamed road), Pipers End, Woolmer Lane, Chapel Lane and 3U185 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 22 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WARE TOWN PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.024) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Ware Town Public Footpath No.024 from its northernmost junction with Walton Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 100m (“the Public Footpath”).
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north and west side of Walton Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.
The Order will come into effect from 20 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF 3U40 (UNNAMED ROAD), WELLPOND GREEN) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U40 (unnamed road), Wellpond Green from a point in line with the north eastern boundary of ‘The Poplars’ south westwards for a distance of approximately 200m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via 3U40 (unnamed road), 3U136 (unnamed road), A120 Stortford Road, High Street, Hadham Road and 3U40 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because water connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 20 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON GREENBANK, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Greenbank, Cheshunt from its junction with Brookfield Lane West north westwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south westwards and north westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 20 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN STANDON, BUNTINGFORD, WYDDIAL AND HERTFORD) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of High Street, Standon from its junction with A120 Stortford Road south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Paper Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 363m.
An alternative route will be via A120 (Stortford Road/Standon Road), Standon Road, The Ash, The Ford, C15 (unnamed road), Bromley Lane and Hadham Road.
2. that length of Vicarage Road, Buntingford from its junction with the Ermine Street roundabout north eastwards to its junction with Wyddial Road, a distance of approximately 295m.
An alternative route will be via High Street, B1038 (High Street/Hare Street Road/unnamed road), B1368 (unnamed road), C125 (unnamed road) and Wyddial Road.
3. that length of Wyddial Road, Wyddial/Buntingford from its junction with Vicarage Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Church Street, a distance of approximately 293m.
An alternative route will be via Wyddial Road, C12 (unnamed road), B1368 (unnamed road), B1038 (unnamed road/Hare Street Road/High Street), High Street and Church Street.
4. that length of Nelson Street, Hertford from its junction with Wellington Street south westwards to its junction with Port Vale, a distance of approximately 90m.
An alternative route will be via Wellington Street and Molewood Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 20 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS AND FOOTPATHS IN WARE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and footpaths (“the Footpaths”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads, except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
a) that length of Trapstyle Road, Ware from its junction with Park Road north westwards, north eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 684m. There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
b) that length of The Brickfields/the road leading to Nos.14-34 Trapstyle Road, Ware from its junction with Trapstyle Road north westwards, south westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
c) that length of Dovedale, Ware from its junction with Quincey Road north westwards, south westwards and eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of Footpath:-
a) the footpath leading to Nos.164-202 Trapstyle Road, Ware from its junction with Trapstyle Road north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 75m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south west side of Trapstyle Road, the footpath situated on the west side of The Brickfields and the footway situated on the north and east sides of Trapstyle Road.
b) the footpath situated between No.39 and No.41 Dovedale, Ware from its junction with Quincey Road north westwards to its junction with Dovedale, a distance of approximately 24m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south east side of Quincey Road and the footway situated on the south, east, north and east sides of Dovedale.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads and Footpaths.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 April 2026 for a period of up to 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near roads and footpaths.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON QUEENS ROAD, WALTHAM CROSS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of road (“the lengths of Road”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Queens Road, Waltham Cross from a point in line with the western boundary of No.74 Queens Road south eastwards to its junction with York Road, a distance of approximately 61m.
An alternative route will be via Queens Road, A121 Eleanor Cross Road and York Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of road, whilst works are in progress. 2. The existing one way traffic system on Queens Road, Waltham Cross will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because water connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the lengths of Road.
The Order will come into effect on 7 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 4 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the lengths of Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON COCK LANE, HODDESDON) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cock Lane, Hoddesdon from its junction with White Stubbs Lane north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Park Lane, a distance of approximately 2800m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via White Stubbs Lane, Baas Hill, Baas Lane and Park Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 7 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 3 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hertford Road, Tewin from a point 114m north west of its junction with Tewin Public Footpath No.023 north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 650m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Hertford Road, B1000 Hertford Road, Archers Green Lane, School Lane, Lower Green and Hertford Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 6 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MOOR GREEN ROAD, ARDELEY) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Moor Green Road, Ardeley from its westernmost junction with the access road leading to ‘Gardeners’ south eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Moor Green Road, C14 (unnamed road), B1037 (Whitehill/ unnamed road), A507 Baldock Road, A10 (Buntingford Bypass/unnamed road/Puckeridge Bypass), Mentley Lane West, C16 Great Munden, Mentley Lane, C14 (unnamed road) and Moor Green Road.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing telegraph pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 8 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 2 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the road.

An alternative route will be via B1037 (unnamed road), A507 (Baldock Road/unnamed road/ Clothall Road), B656 Whitehorse Street, B197 (High Street/London Road), A507 Baldock Bypass, B197 (Jacks Hill/Graveley Road/High Street), A602 Hitchin Road, A1072 Martins Way, A1155 Verity Way and B1037 (Stevenage Road/ High Street/Whitehill/unnamed road).
The Order is needed because tree works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Newgatestreet Road, Goffs Oak from a point 90m south east of its junction with Wesley Close south eastwards to its easternmost junction with B156 Goffs Lane, a distance of approximately 47m (“the Road”).

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF EXISTING 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS ON A507 (UNNAMED ROAD), RUSHDEN/A507 BALDOCK ROAD, RUSHDEN/COTTERED) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to temporarily suspend the existing 7.5 tonnes weight restrictions on A507 (unnamed road), Rushden and A507 Baldock Road, Rushden/Cottered from its junction with A507 Clothall Road south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to the A10 Buntingford Bypass/B1038 Baldock Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 6192m , to enable all vehicles to use this length of roads, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed to allow the delivery and haulage for a construction project near the length of roads.
The Order will come into effect from 8 April 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 6 weeks to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the length of roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Blacksmiths Hill, Benington from its junction with Three Stiles south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 202m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Vicarage Close, Standon from its junction with Station Road south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
