What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(NORTHVIEW ROAD, SHERBROOK HILL, WEST HILL, BUDLEIGH SALTERTON)

ORDER 2026

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 7/4/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 22/5/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: Northview Road, Sherbrook Hill, West Hill, Budleigh Salterton.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via -

Diversion 1: Northview Road > Links Road > West Hill > Northview Road (Vice Versa).

Diversion 2: Sherbrook Hill > West Hill > Northview Road > Sherbrook Hill (Vice Versa)

Diversion 3: West Hill > Exmouth Road > Knowle Village > Road From Bear Lane To East Budleigh Road > East Budleigh Road > Coastguard Road > Coastguard Hill > Marine Parade > South Parade > Fore Street > High Street > West Hill. (vice versa).

Roads affected: Dark Lane, Budleigh Salterton.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Knowle Rd - B3178 - Bedlands Lane - Vice Versa. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Landslip. For additional information contact: Milestone Infrastructure
