Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
THANET AREA
B2052 College Road, Margate, CT9 4AY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2052 College Road, Margate, on or after 20th April 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 38, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2052 College Road, A254 Ramsgate Road, A254 Margate Road, A256 Westwood Road, A255 Dane Court Road, A255 St Peters Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
B2052 Stone Road, Broadstairs, CT10 1DR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2052 Stone Road, Broadstairs, on or after 7th April 2026 for up to 13 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside number 42 to outside number 46, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2052 Stone Road, B2052 North Foreland Road, B2052 North Foreland Hill, B2052 Joss Gap Road, B2052 Kingsgate Bay Road, B2052 Whiteness Road, B2052 George Hill Road, B2053 Green Lane, B2053 Northdown Hill, B2053 Westover Road, B2053 Beacon Road, B2053 Church Street, B2053 Albion Road, B2053 St Peters Park Road, A255 The Broadway, A255 High Street, B2052 High Street, B2052 Albion Street, B2052 Nelson Place and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Augusta Road, Ramsgate, CT11 8LF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Augusta Road, Ramsgate, on or after 20th April 2026 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside flats 3, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bellevue Road, Plains Of Waterloo, B2054 Wellington Crescent, Augusta Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Brunswick Road, Birchington, CT7 0EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brunswick Road, Birchington, on or after 20th April 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 19, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Brunswick Road, B2050 Park Lane, A28 Canterbury Road, Park Avenue and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Clifton Street, Margate, CT9 1SE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clifton Street, Margate, on or after 20th April 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside number 24 to outside number 28, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Clifton Street, Dane Hill, B2055 Northdown Road, Northdown Road and Bath Road.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Clifton Street, Bath Road, Dane Road and Dane Hill.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Durlock, Minster, CT12 4HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Durlock, Minster, on or after 20th April 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 28, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Grange Road, Ramsgate, CT11 9LY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Grange Road, Ramsgate, on or after 7th April 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 52, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Grange Road, B2054 London Road, A255 Nethercourt Circus, A255 Nethercourt Hill, A255 High Street, Ellington Place and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Grenham Bay Avenue, Birchington, CT7 9NP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Grenham Bay Avenue, Birchington, on or after 6th April 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 112 Minnis Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Grenham Bay Avenue, Sea View Road, Reculver Avenue, Minnis Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
High Street, Ramsgate, CT11 9RX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Ramsgate, on or after 20th April 2026 for up to 11 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed opposite number 112, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Chatham Street, A255 Park Road, High Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Manston Road, Manston, CT9 4LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Manston Road, Manston, on or after 20th April 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Coach House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Manston Road, B2050 Manston Road, Shottendane Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Manston Way Walk, Margate, CT9 4FH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Manston Way Walk, Margate, on or after 7th April 2026 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 11 & number 17, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Manston Way, Star Lane, Manston Court Road, Manston Way Walk and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Marlborough Road, Ramsgate, CT11 9BY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Marlborough Road, Ramsgate, on or after 7th April 2026 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 20, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Richmond Road, Crescent Road, West Cliff Road, Vale Square, Marlborough Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Tivoli Road, Margate, CT9 4BZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tivoli Road, Margate, on or after 7th April 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 69, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The one-way Order will be suspended between the junctions of B2052 Hartsdown Road and Tivoli Park Avenue, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tivoli Road, Tivoli Park Avenue, All Saints Avenue, Hartsdown Road and B2052 Hartsdown Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
