What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE is hereby given that on 30/03/2026, the

Council made The Angus Council (Surface Dressing at Various Locations)(Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that patching and surface dressing works may be undertaken. The Order will come into force on 06/04/2026, from which date it is anticipated that the work will last for a period of 25 weeks with works carried out in a rolling programme over 5 days at each location. However, the maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. The effect of the Order is to prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles on various lengths of roads in Angus. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Details of the order, including the site locations and alternative routes can be found at www.angus.gov.uk.
