ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 (MARLBOROUGH ROAD, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Poletek Communications Ltd, have made to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Marlborough Road from junction with Blenheim Street to Marlborough Terrace a distance of approximately 25 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Wadsworth Lane, Birchcliffe Road, School Street, Balmoral Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(SHERWOOD ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sherwood Road from junction with Wakefield Road to Myers Building a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Armytage Road, George Street, Wakefield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(STAINLAND ROAD, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Future Network Solutions, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from No. 350 to No. 364 for a distance of approximately 71 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via High Street, Beestonley Lane, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road, Stainland Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:30 & 18:00.
(STANSFIELD MILL LANE, TRIANGLE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stansfield Mill Lane from Rochdale Road to The Herons for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route, access for residents only. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(WATER STREET, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Water Street from No.15 to No. 29 for a distance of approximately 56 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Rochdale Road, Halifax Road, Bond Street, Dale Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 15:00.
(ALL SOULS ROAD, BOOTHTOWN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of All Souls Road from junction with Laura Street to Sunnybank for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Haley Hill, Range Lane, Range Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 20th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SAVILE ROAD, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Savile Road from No.11 East View to No.3 East View for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Savile Road, King Street, Church Lane, Mytholm Bank, Bank Terrace and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 20th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SHORE NEW ROAD, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Dutton TM, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Shore New Road from Pudsey Road to Mount Pleasant Farm for a distance of approximately 346 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via A646 Halifax Road, Cross Stone Road, Hey Head Lane, Eastwood Road, Kebs Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:30 & 17:00.
(WATSON MILL LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Peter Duffy Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Watson Mill Lane from outside Willow Industrial Complex to outside Unit D for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via West Street, Bridge Street, Scar Head Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00.
