Bower Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Excavation & Ducting Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parishes of Bridgwater and Bridgwater Without Temporary Closure of Bower Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Bower Lane - from 77 metres north-east of the junction with Blackberry Way, north-eastwards for a total distance of 842 metres. This Order will enable JSM Group Services to carry out excavation and ducting works on behalf of Agratas.
The Order becomes effective on 14th April 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th April 2026 and last until 15th May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 26 days.
