What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(MORNINGSIDE DRIVE) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/29 The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate the installation of a zebra crossing, no person shall drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of Morningside Dr at Comiston Rd. The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the closure of Morningside Dr – (1) Morningside Dr, Craighouse Rd, Craighouse Gdns, Balcarres St, Belhaven Ter and Comiston Rd; and (2) Morningside Dr, Morningside Gro, Greenbank Dr, Greenbank Ter and Comiston Rd. The Order shall have effect from 03/04/26 to 20/04/26.
