QUEEN ANNE DRIVE & MAGNA ROAD, POOLE – ROAD CLOSURE

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time

WHERE: Queen Anne Drive from its junction with Montacute Way to Magna Road at its junction with Bear Cross Roundabout

• Closure to be implemented in a phased, rolling manner. Starting on Magna Road from its junction with Bear Cross Roundabout, working towards Queen Anne Drive at its junction with Montacute Way

WHY: This is to facilitate highway maintenance works by BCP Council

WHEN: Anticipated dates:

• 11th April 2026 to 12th April 2026 from 08:00 until 18:00 each day

• 18th April 2026 to 19th April 2026 from 08:00 until 18:00 each day

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

DIVERSION: Via Ringwood Road, Canford Way, Dorset Way, Waterloo Road, Gravel Hill and vice versa

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
