CARLTON ROAD, BOURNEMOUTH – DRAINAGE CONNECTION
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT:
• Road closed to all vehicles and
• No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE: Carlton Road from the property boundary of No.5 to the property boundary of No.9
WHY: To facilitate drainage connection works
WHEN: Anticipated dates 20th April 2026 until 1st May 2026
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via Carlton Road, Vale Road, Southcote Road

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
