What is happening?

TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS
AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Chapel Lane at Sykehouse in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works for tree trimming/felling to achieve a
vegetation safety clearance from the overhead high voltage
electricity supply network on behalf of Northern Power Grid
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Bate Lane, Starkbridge Lane,
Broad Lane, Chapel Lane.

The Proposed Order will continue in force for one day or until
the works which it is proposed to carry out in or near the said
road have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the

Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Holme Hall Lane at Stainton in the City of Doncaster District
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to clear a blocked telecoms duct in the
carriageway are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Stainton Lane, Raw Lane, Holme
Hall Lane.

make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will
be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Cross Hill Court at Skellow in the City of Doncaster District
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to install a new electrical supply are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicles affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses
directly affected by the works will be notified of the scheme
and access arrangements.
