THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
Braehead, Bo’ness from 09:00 on 06/04/26 until 17:00 on 13/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Braehead, Bo’ness from a point adjacent to Marchlands Lane in an easterly direction for approximately 30 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Erngath Road, A993, A706, Braehead Road or vice versa.
Bantaskine Drive, Falkirk from 00:01 on 06/04/26 until 23:59 on 10/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Bantaskine Drive, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Windsor Avenue in a westerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is:
1) Windsor Avenue, Bantaskine Road or vice versa
2) Bantaskine Road, Shannon Drive, Derwent Avenue, Maggie Woods Lane, Bantaskine Drive or vice versa.
