Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works using on track machinery to
consolidate ballast to improve track quality are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Station Road, Blaxton
Roundabout, Bank End Road, Wroot Road C218, Wroot Road,

will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or
waiting in those lengths of the C22 Doncaster Road at High
Melton and the C22 Melton Road at Sprotbrough in the City

each occasion lasting no longer than 3 consecutive days.
Works restricted to 09:30hrs until 15:30hrs or Saturdays. This
process is weather dependant and as such exact dates for each
location cannot be given.
