TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (A858 PENTLAND RD TO ACHMORE) ORDER 2026
Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, hereby give notice of the temporary road closure on Friday 17 April 2026 and Monday 20 April 2026 between the hours of 5pm and 12am on the following section of road:
A858 PENTLAND ROAD TO ACHMORE - from the Pentland Road junction with the A858 in a south westerly direction to Achmore, an overall distance of 6.9km or thereby.
The temporary road closure is in the interests of road safety as filming is being carried out on and adjacent to the road.
There is an alternative route available via the C35 and A859.
