The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Water Lane, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst frame and cover works are being undertaken.
The order becomes operational from the 14/4/26 between the hours of 9:30 and 15:30. The following road is affected: Water Lane, Newport from its jcn with Royal Victoria Mews for approx. 60m in a south easterly direction.
The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 14/4/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
