London Borough of Southwark - Clink Street - temporary relocation of disabled bays

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (CLINK STREET) (TEMPORARY RELOCATION OF DISABLED BAYS)     

1. The Council of the London Borough of Southwark hereby gives notice that to allow building maintenance works, it intends to make an order, the effect of which will be to temporarily relocate two disabled bays on Clink Street, SE1.

2. The disabled bays opposite 5 Clink Street will be temporarily suspended and removed to allow scaffolding to be placed outside 5 Clink Street.  Two bays will be temporarily created on Clink Street near the junction with Bank End.

3. When road markings are in place, only vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons badge may park a vehicle within 2 bays located on Clink Street, 10 metres from the junction of Bank End.

4. The temporary traffic order will be in operation from the 20th of April 2026 until the 19th of June 2026 or until works are completed.

5. This order is valid for 18 months from the 20th of April 2026.
