We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Croft Heads, Sowerby for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 30/03/26 & 14/04/26, due to Northern Gas carrying out repairs. However, the max duration of this Order is until 30/04/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary 30 MPH Speed Restriction, B6271 Bolton Road, Scorton / Bolton On Swale, Order 2026 No. 104

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 mph along that part of the B6271 which extends from East View in Bolton On Swale northwards to its junction with the existing permanent 30 MPH speed limit for a temporary period between 30/03/26 & 10/04/26. However, the max duration of this Order is until 29/09/27. The temporary speed limit is to be introduced in connection with maintenance works on the adjacent footway. The restriction will be put into effect by notices & signs. During such times as the temporary speed limit is in place the terms of the following Traffic Regulation Order will be suspended insofar as it relates to the section of road over which the temporary speed limit has been introduced: ‘North Yorkshire County Council (30 Mph & 40 Mph Speed Limits) (Various Roads, Bolton On Swale / Scorton) Order 2002’.
