C4 Broadway Road, Windlesham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 31 March 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C4 Broadway Road, Windlesham that extends its junction with D21 Hook Mill Lane, to its junction with D519 Orchard Hill. 

This Traffic Order is required to enable National Highways to carry out surveying and/or testing to the “Broadway Road Bridge” (M3/43.6) and/or repairs and/or carriageway resurfacing and/or maintenance works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9pm and 6am, within 9 nights of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 April 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. Access pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under escort by Traffic Management Operatives. 

Alternative routes: – Northbound Diversion – Follow C4 Broadway to A322 Lightwater By-Pass, A322 Bagshot By-Pass, to M3 J3 Roundabout NB, M3 J3 Roundabout to A322 London Road, A30 School Road, B386 Kennel Lane, B386 Pound Lane, C3 Church Road back to C4 Broadway. Southbound Diversion – Reverse of Northbound route, with SB traffic using Grove End Road A322 to join A322 Bagshot By-Pass.

Temporary Speed Limit Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from driving or proceeding at a speed greater than 30 MPH in that length of; (a) Portsmouth Road (A325) Camberley as extends from its junction with its roundabout with (D3489) Prior Road and (D3525) Crawley Hill to its junction with (D3463) Hope Fountain; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Portsmouth Road (A325) Camberley/ Frimley (40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2005” insofar as it affects that length of road described in part (a) of this Notice. 

This Temporary Speed Limit Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 weeks, between the hours of 7am and 7pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 27 April 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary speed limit, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 or in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police.

D34 Lovelands Road, Chobham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D34 Lovelands Road, Chobham. This Traffic Order is required to enable Cadent Gas to carry out gas mains replacement and/or repair and/or maintenance works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within 4 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 April 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times. 

Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times via an alternative walkway. 

Access for cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Pennypot Lane and Scotts Grove Road.
