(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)

ORDER 2026

On 23 March 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on footway resurfacing) on the undernoted roads by reason of works being executed on or near that location. Cawder Road, Cumbernauld from Carrickstone Road to Cawder Court Cawder Road, Cumbernauld from Carrickstone Road to Cawder View Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

The Order, will come into operation at 0800 hours on Monday, 6 April 2026 and will remain in operation until 1800 hours on Wednesday, 22 April 2026.
