Multiple Roads, Rushmoor - Temporary Road Closure due to gas mains replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Fleet Road between its junction with Farnborough Road and its junction with Clubhouse Road. Farnborough Road between its junction with Fleet Road and continuing to a point 130 metres Southwest on Farnborough Road. (This only prevents use of turning left into Fleet Road.)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Fleet Road, Clubhouse Road, Farnborough Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 30th March 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 months and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
