REASON: The order is proposed to correct anomalies in the council’s records.
During the reconstruction of Leeds Road, Huddersfield a number of changes were made to parking restrictions without the completion of a Traffic Regulation Order.
This Traffic Regulation Order is being processed to ensure that the existing restrictions on site are matched in the Council’s Order and are therefore legally enforceable.
It is believed these proposals will reinforce the Highway Code, correct an anomaly and improve traffic flow & highway safety for all road users.
A copy of this draft Order, together with the plan showing the affected lengths of road and a detailed statement of reasons for proposing the Order may be inspected at:-
