U7028 LAWN TOP JUNCTION TO
RUNNER FOOT GILSLAND
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7028 Lawn Top Junction To Runner Foot from its point with the front of Gap Farm heading in a west southwards direction for a distance of 22 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th April 2026 until the 27th April 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th April 2026 until the 24th April 2026 the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U7028, C300, B6318 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate and replace existing boundary box. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

C224 MILITARY ROAD JUNCTION TO DISTRICT
BOUNDARY GREAT WHITTINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C224 Military Road Junction to District Boundary Great Whittington for a distance of 42 metres south-west of the front of Great Whittington Village Hall for a distance of 450 metres in a southerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th April 2026 until the 11th April 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 7th April 2026 between the hours of 09:30 and 16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 11th April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C224, C341, B6318 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Total Resources UK Ltd on behalf of Northern Powergrid for tree trimming/felling to achieve safety clearance from the Overhead Electricity Supply Network. (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:
• U8282 Eastgate Bank from its junction with A695 West Road heading in a southward direction for its entire length.
• U8283 Stonybank Way from its junction with U8282 Eastgate Bank heading in a westward direction for a distance of 100 metres.
• U8282 Bowlers Hill from its junction with U8282 Eastgate Bank heading in a southward direction for its entire length.
The Order is to be effective from the 7th April 2026 until the 3rd June 2026.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 7th April 2026 until the 10th April 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 3rd June 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8282, C393, B6395, A695, U8283 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.
• A68 West Woodburn to Otterburn Crossroads from its junction with the U5022 Cold Town to Hareshaw Head for a distance of 725 metres in a south-easterly direction.
• A68 West Woodburn Main Road Through Village for its entire length.
• A68 Ridsdale to West Woodburn from its intersection with A68 West Woodburn to Otterburn Crossroads for a distance of 1370 metres in a south-easterly direction
• C201 Lisle Burn to West Woodburn from its junction with A68 West Woodburn Main Road Through Village for a distance of 133 metres in a south-westerly direction
The Order is to be effective from the 30th March 2026 until the 30th September 2026.
Works will be carried out in weather-dependant phases:
Phase 1 & 2 Pre-surface dressing patching and civil works
Phase 3 Surface dressing works
Phase 4 Lock chip works
Phase 5 White lining and road stud works.
It is expected that the road will only be closed for Phase 1 and 2 from the 2nd April 2026 until the 7th April 2026 during the closure period; however, the order will remain in place until the 30th September 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A68, A696, B6342, A68 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:
• B6305 Carts Bog To Low Stublick Junction from its junction with A686 heading in a easterly direction for a length of 3440 metres.
• B6295 Langley To B6305 Junction from its junction with the B6305 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 200 metres.
• B6295 B6305 Junction To Folly Lane Junction from its junction with the B6305 heading in a southerly direction for a length of 800 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 31st March 2026 until the 30th September 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 31st March 2026 for phase 1 and 2 (Pre-surface dressing patching and Civils) between the hours of 09:30 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th September 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A686, A69, B6531, B6305, B6304 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A6079 Wall to Chollerton from its junction with the B6318 heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 2170 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st April 2026 until the 30th September 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 1st April 2026 for phase 1 and 2 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 however, the order will remain in place until 30th September 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6318, A68, A6079 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
