(LONGFORD ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Longford Road Opposite no’s 9 to 17.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 08:00 on 9th April 2026 until 16:30 on 12th April 2026.
The diversion route is: Longford Road, Valley Road, Shawbury Road, Bushbury Road, Longford Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
