MANAGEMENT
“The Aberdeenshire Council (George Garden Avenue, Peterhead – 05.04.26) (Temporary Traffic Management) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 05.04.26 for 12 days and will introduce a road closure and prohibition of waiting restriction on George Garden Avenue, Peterhead from numbers 6-7.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during service gas cable works. An alternative route is available via Hope Street, Thores Road, Dickie Drive and vice versa.
