Ashfield Road, Idle - Temporary Road Closure due to Crane Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

ASHFIELD ROAD, IDLE, BRADFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of Caddick (Crane) works to be executed on or near Ashfield Road, Idle, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Ashfield Road from its junction with Leeds Road to its junction with Kingston Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Asfield Road (unaffected section), Kingston Road, Town Hall, Leeds Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 07:30 hours on the 31st of March 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 1st of April 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
