Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Yanleigh Close, Dundry, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 27 April 2026

Ref: T26-22

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of carriageway and footway resurfacing works and will become operative on 27 April 2026, anticipated to be of 4 weeks. Work will take place between 8am and 5pm. The maximum period for the closure is eighteen months, however, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 27 April 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of mobile pothole repair works and will become operative on 27 April 2026, anticipated to be of 5 working days. The closure will be in place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule – Brockley Combe Road and Downside Road from Main Road junction with Brockley Combe Road to Downside Road junction with Bristol Road. Alternative routes – Main Road, West Town Road, Farleigh Road, Old Weston Road, Clevedon Road, Barrow Street, Bridgwater Road, Potters Hill, Bristol Road, and vice-versa.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:

Marsh Lane, Easton-in-Gordano, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026

Date coming into force: 7 April 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by North Somerset Council for bridge works for the MetroWest project. This order will become operative on the 7 April 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 60 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace a pole. This order will become operative on the 8 April 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for pole testing. This order will become operative on the 6 April 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians Order 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of footpaths specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of footpath.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water for access to sewer. This order will become operative on the 5 April 2026 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 4 days in duration. Appropriate pedestrian traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order will become operative on the 8 April 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 2 days in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wales & West Utilities Limited to replace gas mains. This order will become operative on the 7 April 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 14 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out highway construction associated with new rail station. This order will become operative on the 6 April 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 10 hours in duration from 8pm to 6am. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026

Will be to prohibit the left turn from Quays Avenue onto Harbour Road, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out associated highway construction for new rail station for MetroWest project. This order will become operative on the 7 April 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the prohibition of left turn may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 33 weeks in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
