Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists
Date coming into force: 27 April 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This order is required because of carriageway and footway resurfacing works and will become operative on 27 April 2026, anticipated to be of 4 weeks. Work will take place between 8am and 5pm. The maximum period for the closure is eighteen months, however, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

This order is required because of mobile pothole repair works and will become operative on 27 April 2026, anticipated to be of 5 working days. The closure will be in place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.
Schedule – Brockley Combe Road and Downside Road from Main Road junction with Brockley Combe Road to Downside Road junction with Bristol Road. Alternative routes – Main Road, West Town Road, Farleigh Road, Old Weston Road, Clevedon Road, Barrow Street, Bridgwater Road, Potters Hill, Bristol Road, and vice-versa.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:
Marsh Lane, Easton-in-Gordano, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026
Date coming into force: 7 April 2026

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by North Somerset Council for bridge works for the MetroWest project. This order will become operative on the 7 April 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 60 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
