ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(ROAD FROM HORSE PLOT COTTAGE TO SHORE HEAD, STOCKLAND) ORDER 2026

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 30/3/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 10/4/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: Road from Horse Plot Cottage to Shore Head, Stockland.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - road past Horse Plot Cottage – road from Husseys Cross to Mount Pleasant Farm – road from Golden Square Cross to Mount Pleasant Farm – road from Royal Oak Cross to Shortmoor Cross – road from Royal Oak Cross to Broadhayes Cross – road from Broadhayes Cross to Shore Head – road from Horse Plot Cottage to Shore Head & Vice Versa.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Replacement & Renewal of Existing Potable Water Mains.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 30/3/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 14/4/26.

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: Road Past Moorhayne, Yarcombe.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Road Through Yarcombe, Road from Stockland Cross to Road End Cross.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Water Mains Renewal.

Roads affected: Goldsmith Lane & Knights Lane, All Saints.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Road From Birchill Cross to Catmoor Cross – Road From Birchill Cross To Springhayes – Road From Pear Tree Cottage To Springhayes – Road From Cuckolds Pit To Tytherleigh – Road Past Culverfield - A358 & Vice Versa.
