Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles from proceeding in the lengths of carriageway specified in schedule 1 OTHER THAN in the direction specified in Schedule 2.

Birmingham Road, Aldridge that is situated from its junction with A454 Walsall Road to its junction with B4154 Bosty Lane.
(Monday 13 April 2026 to Sunday 31 May 2026).
Reason for Order: Water main renewal.
Works on behalf of: South Staffordshire Water.
Northerly
Sutton Road, Walsall that is situated from its
junction with A4148 Broadway North to its junction with Sutton Road Service Road. (Saturday 11 April 2026) (08:00 – 17:00).
Reason for Order: Fault repair.
Works on behalf of: Buko Traffic and Safety.

And, prevent any vehicles proceeding in the length of:

 WEDNESBURY ROAD, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with Corporation Street West to its junction with Milton Street. (Saturday 4 April 2026 to Monday 6 April 2026) (18:00 – 06:00 only).
Reason for Order: Repair defect in sewer.

 WALSALL ROAD, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Birmingham Road to its junction with Station Road. (Tuesday 7 April 2026 to Wednesday 8 April 2026) (20:00 – 06:00).
Reason for Order: Repair frame and cover.

 CHURN HILL ROAD, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Birmingham Road to its junction with Whetstone Lane. (Monday 13 April 2026 to Sunday 31 May).
Reason for Order: Mains renewals and connections.

 OCCUPATION ROAD, BROWNHILLS that is situated from its junction with Little Lawns Close to its junction with Parkwood Close. (Tuesday 21 April 2026) (08:00 – 17:00).
Reason for Order: Water mains remedial work.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.

 BEACON ROAD, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with A462 Essington Road. (Wednesday 8 April 2026 to Friday 10 April 2026).
Reason for Order: Install communication pipe.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.

 BLUE LANE EAST, WALSALL that is situated at its junction with B4210 Stafford Street. (Tuesday 7 April 2026 to Friday 10 April 2026).
Reason for Order: New connection.
Works on behalf of: South Staffordshire Water.

This ORDER will come into operation on Saturday March 2026. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
