THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(BATH ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Bath Road from
the junction of Summerfield Road to the junction of
Southgate.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken
from 30 March 2026 until 31 March 2026.
The diversion route is: Chapel Ash, Ring Road, Waterloo
Road, Newhampton Road East, Clifford Street, Albert
Road, Tettenhall Road.
The Order is required to enable a crane to facilitate the
removal of brewing tank vessels and brewing equipment
by RAB Technical Services.
