THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(DEYNCOURT ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Deyncourt Road from its
junction with Cannock Road, to its junction with
Newbolds Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 30 March 2026 until 10 April 2026.
The diversion route is: Prestwood Road, Thorneycroft Lane,
Bushbury Road, Cannock Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement
works by Cadent Gas.
