What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (PEEL PARK CRESCENT) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.

The Order will introduce a road closure on Peel Park Crescent, at the junction of Manchester Road West, Salford, M38 9EG. The Order is necessary for electrical diversionary works to be carried out. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 6th April 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 12th April 2026. The diversion routes are via Peel Lane - Armitage Avenue - Manchester Road West, vice versa.
