CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(LODGE ROAD, CRANFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Lodge Road, Cranfield outside Ivy House.

This temporary closure is required to enable comms pipe repair work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 20 to 22 April 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Court Road, High St and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 20 April 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Church Road, Pulloxhill from outside 2 Tyburn Lane to Rectory Lane.

This temporary closure is required to enable blockage clearance work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 20 to 21 April 2026 between the hours of 0800 and 1800. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure will be via Tyburn Lane, Greenfield Rd and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Station Road, Brogborough 20 metres either side of the level crossing.

This temporary closure is required to enable a level crossing inspection to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 11pm on 11 April 2026 to 4am on 12 April 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Biggleswade Road, Upper Caldecote between Marshalls Way and A1.

This temporary closure is required to enable streetlighting replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 2100hrs on 10 April to 0500hrs on 11 April 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via A1, A603, Vinegar Hill, Biggleswade Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 10 April 2026 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along along the length of High Street, Pulloxhill from outside numbers 1 to 7 and Flitton Road, Pulloxhill from outside The Chalet to jct with High St.

This temporary closure is required to enable pole replacement and cabling works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on the below days and time

High Street from 9 to 13 April between the hours of 0800 and 1800. Flitton Road from 13 to 14 April between the hours of 0800 and 1800hrs.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the following length of Bedford Road, Houghton Conquest from Ampthill Road to Sollars Way.

This temporary closure is required to enable S278 works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 6 April to 26 June 2026 for 24 hrs a day.

The roads will be closed at all times during these periods.

The alternative routes for this closure are Bedford Road, The Grove, B530 and vice versa
