What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

GARDINER STREET, MARKET HARBOROUGH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING

AT ANY TIME ORDER 2026

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 29/04/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake gully jetting works.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 27/04/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow National Grid to undertake new connection works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Great Bowden Rd, The Headlands, Douglass Dr, Nunneley Wy & vice versa.

AT CERTAIN TIMES

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING RESTRICTION ORDER 2026

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 27/04/2026 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 18 months to allow Wates Construction Ltd on behalf of Ministry of Justice to undertake a safe passing route as part of the agreed construction management plan route.

SCHEDULE 1

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING

AT CERTAIN TIMES

Foxton Rd, Lubenham for its entire length on both sides between the hours of 09:00-16:00 Monday to Friday with the exception of Bank Holiday & 21st December 2026-1st January 2027 & future Christmas fortnights arising within the period of the Order.

SCHEDULE 2

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING RESTRICTION

Foxton Rd, Lubenham from Langhton Rd for approx. 350m North on West verge between the highway boundary/private property line to carriageway kerb line.

HIGH STREET, FLECKNEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

ORDER 2026

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 27/04/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake remedial works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake mains renewal works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

GREAT EASTON ROAD, BRINGHURST

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

The Order will come into force on 07/04/2026 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days to allow Anglian Water to undertake works to excavate & rebuild a manhole chamber. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The Order will come into force on 06/04/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow BT Openreach to undertake new connection works.
