We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Leavening Brow to Uncleby Wold, Acklam for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 01 /04/26 & 21/06/26, due to installation of 2500m water main in carriageway & verge works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Church Street, Hovingham to Potticar Bank Road, Malton Road to Hovingham High Street & Malton Road, Hovingham; Keldy Castle Road, Cropton; Hartoft End to Low Mires, Hartoft; Milton Avenue, Malton; Gaily Gap to Four Lane Ends, Westow; Eddlethorpe to Moor Hill, Langton; Staxton Hill to Binnington Ness, Staxton; Amotherby Lane to Lime Kiln Farm, Appleton Lane to Amotherby Lane, Amotherby; High Street, Swinton; Balloon Tree Lane, Upper Helmsley; Stamford Bridge to Buttercrambe Bridge, Buttercrambe & Ryton Rigg Road, Great Habton for a temporary period of 3 weeks at each location (subject to access to premises) between 01/04/26 & 30/09/26, due to carriageway patching works. We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Southfield and Scagglethorpe to A64, Scagglethorpe; The Pastures, St. Hilda's Crescent & West Garth, Sherburn; Risewood, Gate Helmsley; Dickens Road and Fitzjohn Close, Malton; Manor Park, Broughton; Norman Close, Rosamund Avenue, Herisson Close & Cuddy Brown Close, Pickering; The Crescent, Farmanby Close and Aunums Close, Thornton-le-Dale; Sledgate, Sledgate Garth, Manor View, Woodlands Road and Woodlands Avenue, Rillington; Mossburn Drive, Hovingham; Vivers Place, Queens Way, Petch Garth, Ripley Close, Lime Chase and Cedar Vale, Kirkbymoorside & Ryedale Close, Burdale Close, Kingston Drive, Glenmore Drive, Langley Drive, Furlongs Avenue and Rosedale Avenue, Norton-on-Derwent for a temporary period of several days at each loaction (subject to access to premises) between 01/04/26 & 31/03/27, due to micro-asphalt works. We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Kirkham, Kirkham for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 13/04/26 & 26/04/26, due to telecoms works, clearing blockages & various overlay work. However, the max duration of this Order is until 13/10/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. 30 Mph Speed Limit, Upper Helmsley Road, Gate Helmsley, Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on any length of road specified below:- Schedule - Road In The Village Of Gate Helmsley 30 Mph Speed Limit Upper Helmsley Road, Gate Helmsley, for a distance of 90 metres north, from the northern boundary of property Stone Lea at the existing 30mph speed limit signage. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Malton library, St. Michael Street, Malton, Y017 7LJ during normal office hours from 25/03/26 until 15/04/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
