Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 – Woodcroft Road, Etton Ref: 26-352
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Woodcroft Road, Etton as lies between points 20 metres either side of Woodcroft Road Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Woodcroft Rd, Helpston Rd, Glinton Rd, West St, King St, Stamford Rd, and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 28/03/2026 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 27/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place from 23:00 on the 28/03/2026 to 09:00 on the 29/03/2026.

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as South Street, Stanground, at it’s junction with Coneygree Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: A605. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/03/2026 and will continue until the excavation and rechamber of SV works have been completed or until the 28/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on the 29/03/2026.

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Paynesholm 2026 Ref: 26-354
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Paynesholm, outside number 57 Paynesholm. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: 47, 37, 71, 64, 60 Paynesholm and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on the 30/03/2026 and will continue until the blockage clearance works have been completed or until the 29/09/2026, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 30/03/2026.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Thorney Road, A16, A47, Paston Parkway roundabout 20, A47, Newborough Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 30/03/2026 and will continue until the new water connection works have been completed or until the 29/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 30/03/2026 and the 01/04/2026.

The proposed order will come into force on the 01/04/2026 and will continue until the new water connection works have been completed or until the 31/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 01/04/2026 and the 07/04/2026.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Burghley Square, Park Road, Princes Gate, Broadway and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 01/04/2026 and will continue until the cut & patch works have been completed or until the 31/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between 09:30 and 15:30 from the 01/04/2026 to the 02/04/2026.

The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is signed locally on site. The Order will come into operation on the 01/04/2026 and will continue until the new electrical connection works have been completed or until the 30/09/2026, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed between the 01/04/2026 and 07/04/2026.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Bridgehill Road, Guntons Road, Newborough Road, A47, A15 Paston Parkway, Gunthorpe Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 30/03/2026 and will continue until the resurfacing works have been completed or until the 29/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 30/03/2026 and the 31/03/2026.

The proposed order will come into force on the 29/03/2026 and will continue until the fire hydrant replacement works have been completed or until the 28/03/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on 29/03/2026 only.

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Nene Parkway to Shrewsbury Avenue Cyclepath, for its entire length. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: Shrewsbury Avenue, Newcastle Drive, Oakleigh Drive, Thornleigh Drive, Caldervale and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on the 28/03/2026 and will continue until the footpath (S278) works have been completed or until the 27/09/2026, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed between the 28/03/2026 and 10/04/2026.

The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is signed locally on site. The proposed Order will come into operation on 09/04/2026 and will continue until the gas main works have been completed or until the 08/10/2026, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between 09/04/2026 and 15/04/2026.

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Uffington Road, A1175 Main Rd, Tallington Rd, B1443 Barnack Rd, Station Rd, Bainton Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 07/04/2026 and will continue until the BT frame and cover repair works have been completed or until the 06/04/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 07/04/2026 and the 09/04/2026.

The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is signed locally on site. The proposed Order will come into operation on 06/04/2026 and will continue until the construction of Cygnet Bridge works have been completed or until the 31/03/2027, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between 06/04/2026 and 31/03/2027.
