SPECIAL EVENT – COMMENCING 14 APRIL 2026 UNTIL 30 JUNE 2026

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, is satisfied that traffic on the said Roads should be prohibited for the purpose of holding a number of social events and proposes to make an Order, the effect of which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait along the lengths of Roads as listed in the Schedule to this Order. Emergency vehicles and pedestrians access will be maintained at all times.

This Order permits Event Organisers to enter, for the purposes of holding their event, roads listed as closed in the Schedule to this Order and those roads as listed as closed under the current Poole (Quay Lights Street Summer Closure Order).

The proposed Order will operate from 14 April 2026 and will continue in force up to and including 30 June 2026. Anticipated event dates and times are listed in the Schedule to this Notice, and could be subject to change, with updates being notified nearer the event date.
