Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure
in its capacity as Road Authority and acting in pursuance of
its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the
use of the above-named road to through traffic, from 100m
south of junction to Ballynery North Road to 100m north of
junction with Ballytrasna Road daily, commencing on
Monday 23rd March to Friday 3rd April 2026 from 08:00 –
18:00.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be
maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate drainage repair and resurfacing
works on behalf of DFI.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted
via: Diversion 1: B0002 Derrymacash Road, C0157
Kilvergan Road, U1175 Carbet Road, U1361 Drumnagoon
Road, U1176 Carn Road, B0002 Charlestown Road, B0002
Derrytrasna Road
