The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Water Lane, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst frame & cover works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 25/3/26 between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00. The following road is affected: Water Lane, Newport from side of Newport Community Building (Cosy Hall) for approx. 20m in an easterly direction.
The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 26/3/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
