Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 26th March 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CRADDOCKS CLOSE, BRADWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2333)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Craddocks Close, Bradwell to enable Openreach to undertake ducting works.
Craddocks Close, Bradwell – Outside number 43
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route however access will be provided where safe to do so.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Dansteed Way, Fulmer Street and Portway.
The closures take effect from 9th to 13th April 2026 (09:00 – 18:00).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHILDS WAY AND PORTWAY (PARTS), CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2368)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Childs Way and Portway to enable Suez to undertake work to remove graffiti from bridges.
6th April 2026 (09:30 - 15:30)
Portway, Central Milton Keynes – from its junction with Secklow Gate to its junction with Marlborough Street.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Secklow Gate, Childs Way and Marlborough Street (and vice versa).
7th April 2026 (09:30 - 15:30)
Childs Way, Central Milton Keynes – from its junction with Saxon Gate to its junction with Secklow Gate.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Saxon Gate, Portway and Secklow Gate (and vice versa).
8th April 2026 (09:30 - 15:30)
Portway, Central Milton Keynes – from its junction with Grafton Gate to its junction with Secklow Gate.
The above Portway closure will be done in 3 phases with the closure points moving eastwards between roundabouts. Alternative routes will be signed.
9th April 2026 (09:30 - 15:30)
Portway, Campbell Park – from its junction with Skeldon Gate to its junction with Overgate.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Marlborough Street, Dansteed Way and Overstreet (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY BG01 (PART), BROUGHTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2364)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Redway BG01, Broughton to enable O2 to undertake works to undertake works to move fibre to a new cabinet.
Redway BG01, Broughton – from its junction with Tanfield Lane to its junction with Poppy Avenue.
Whilst the above length of redway is closed, the alternative route will be via the footpaths on the opposite side of the carriageway.
The closures take effect from 7th to 9th April 2026 (24 Hours).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DOWNHAM ROAD (PART), WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2350)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Downham Road, Woburn Sands to enable Openreach to undertake works to undertake works to replace a telecoms pole.
Downham Road, Woburn Sands – from Aspley Hill to outside number 28.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Aspley Hill and High Street (and vice versa).
The closures take effect on 8th April 2026 (8:00am to 6:00pm).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (RAMSONS AVENUE (PART), CONNIBURROW) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2350)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Ramsons Avenue, Conniburrow to enable Openreach to undertake works to undertake ducting works.
Ramsons Avenue, Conniburrow – (its westbound carriageway) from Yarrow Place and Speedwell Place.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Yarrow Place, Conniburrow Boulevard and Speedwell Place.
The closures take effect on 8th – 14th April 2026 (24 hours).

The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close the following roads to enable Anglian Water to undertake works.
23rd April 2026 (8:00am – 6:00pm)
Hampton, Great Holm – from Lamport Court to Edgecote
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Kensington Drive and Attingham Hill (and vice versa).
27th – 29th April 2026 (8:00am – 5:00pm)
Attingham Court, Great Holm – from Kensington Drive to Vyne Crescent
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Kensington Drive and Hampton (and vice versa).
29th April – 1st May 2026 (24 hours)
Church Road, Bow Brickhill – Outside number 38
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Longslade Lane, Woburn Road, Hardwick Road, The Leys and Bow Brickhill Road (and vice versa).
30th April 2026 (8:00am – 5:00pm)
Hanmer Road, Simpson – Between Poplar Close and Village Hall
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Simpson Road and Simpson Drive (and vice versa).
13th April 2026 (9:30am – 5:00pm)
Park Road, Stony Stratford – Its entire length
Whilst the above closure is in effect, there alternative route will be via Calverton Road, Augustus Road, Egmont Avenue and The Limes (and vice versa).
23rd April 2026 (9:30am – 5:00pm)
Creslow Court, Stony Stratford – Its entire length
Whilst the above closure is in effect, there will be no alternative route.
14th – 16th April 2026 (8:00am – 5:00pm)
Stratford Road, Wolverton – (its rear access road) between Anson Road and Jersey Road
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Anson Road and Jersey Road (and vice versa).
22nd – 24th April 2026 (8:00am – 5:00pm)
Windsor Street, Bletchley – At its junction with Osborne Street
Whilst the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Water Eaton Road, Clifford Avenue, Osborne Street, Oliver Road and Sandringham Place (and vice versa).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DODKIN (PARTS), BEANHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2343)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Dodkin, Beanhill to enable Openreach to undertake works to undertake ducting works.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WITHYCOMBE, FURZTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2354)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Withycombe, Furzton to enable Openreach to undertake works to undertake ducting works.
Withycombe, Furzton – between numbers 2 and 32.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be alternative route, however access will be provided where safe to do so
The closures take effect on 14th – 17th April 2026 (24 hours).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 24th March 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WATLING STREET (PART), GREAT HOLM) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2381)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Watling Street, Great Holm to enable Kori Construction to undertake works to remove old drop kerbs and replace with full height kerbs.
Watling Street, Great Holm – its southbound carriageway from Highgrove Hill to Loughton Roundabout.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Dansteed Way, Fulmer Street and Portway.
The closures take effect from 27th March until 10th April 2026 (Monday to Friday 09:30 – 16:30).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (HAWKRIDGE AND WINSFORD HILL, FURZTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2326)
The effect of the above-named traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily close Hawkridge and Winsford Hill, Furzton to enable Openreach to undertake work to lay ducts in the carriageway.
Winsford Hill, Furzton – between numbers 37 and 39.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Hawkridge and Parkside (and vice versa).
Hawkridge and Winsford Hill, Furzton – from outside number 10 Hawkridge to outside number 44 Winsford Hill.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Hawkridge.
The closures take effect from 30th March until 1st April 2026 for Winsford Hill and 25th to 28th May 2026 for Winsford Hill and Hawkridge.
