Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Cherry Hinton Road Old Alignment, Teversham as lies between Airport Way & Borley Way. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via Airport Way; Church Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway improvements & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 27/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 26/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 27/4 & 15/9/26.

Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-20108

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Ermine Street South A1198, Papworth Everard as lies between Caxton Gibbet & Papworth Everard Bypass. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate A428 upgrade & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 7/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 6/10/26 whichever is the earlier.

Perne Road (A1134), Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20109

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Nos. 25 & 63. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993, schedule 23 – Cycle lane, Part 2 – Mandatory with-flow cycle lane, Perne Road – on both sides of the carriageway from its junction with Brookfields to its junction with Cherry Hinton Road is hereby suspended. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate leaking ferrule repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 7/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 6/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Perne Road (A1134), Cambridge are in progress. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 7/4 & 9/4/26.

Kingston Street, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20110

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Kingston Street, Cambridge as lies between No.11 & Mill Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Kingston St; Mill Rd; Gwydir St; Hooper St & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate communication pipe repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 8/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 7/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 8/4 & 10/4/26.

Station Road, Stow-Cum-Quy Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20111

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Stow-Cum-Quy as lies between Nos. 50 & 72. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 13/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 12/10/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 13/4 & 17/4/26. 

Camside, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-20112 Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Camside, Cambridge as lies outside No.13. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate fibre connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 20/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 19/10/26 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20/4 & 21/4/26.

Huntingdon Road, Girton Temporary Suspension Of Bus Lane – Order 2026-20114

Will be to temporarily suspend the bus lane as lies between Orchard Drive & Grange Drive. During the period this Order remains in force The CCC (Huntingdon Road, Girton) (Bus/Cycle Lane, Prohibition of Waiting & Loading) Order1998; 3. Save as provided in articles 4 & 5 no person shall, except upon the direction or with the permission of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden, cause or permit any motor vehicle to enter, proceed on or wait on the bus/cycle lane marked on the roads or parts of road specified in Schedule 1. Schedule 1 – Lengths of road & sides of road in the District of South Cambridgeshire, Parish of Girton, Huntingdon Road – the northeast side from a point of 112metres northwest of its junction with Girton Road in a north-westerly direction to its junction with the eastern side of the slip road to the eastbound carriageway of the Truck Road A14 Cambridge Northern Bypass is hereby suspended. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water disconnection & associated works which are being carried out on or near the bus lane & it will come into operation on 8/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 7/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Huntingdon Road, Girton are in progress. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 8/4 & 10/4/26.

Trumpington Road, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Bus Lane – Order 2026-20116

Will be to temporarily suspend the bus lane as lies between Latham Road & Bentley Road. During the period this Order remains in force The Cambridgeshire County Council (Various Street, Cambridge) (Bus Lanes) Order 2024. Schedule – Road & parts of roads on which any vehicle other than a pedal cycle, electric scooter, bus, hackney carriage, or private hire vehicle is prohibited between the hours of 7.00am & 7.00pm, Mondays to Saturday, Trumpington Road – On the east side from a point 30 meters south of its junction with Newton Road to a point 145 meters north of its junction with Long Road is hereby suspended. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water meter repair & associated works which are being carried out on or near the bus lane & it will come into operation on 8/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 7/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Trumpington Road, Cambridge are in progress. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 8/4 & 10/4/26.

Comberton Road, Little Eversden Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20117

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Comberton Road, Little Eversden as lies between sewage pumping station and A603. The alternative route for vehicles is via Comberton Rd; Royston Ln, Comberton; South St; B1046; A603 and vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water disconnection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 14/4/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 13/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 14/4 and 16/4/26.

Stanley Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20118 

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Stanley Road, Cambridge as lies between No.18 & Newmarket Road. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via Oyster Row; Garlic Row; A1134 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate joint box repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 29/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 28/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs 29/4/26.

Queen Ediths Way, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20119

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Queen Ediths Way, Cambridge as lies between Sandells Yard and Spalding Way. The alternative route for vehicles is via Queen Ediths Way; A1134; Cherry Hinton Rd C235; Cherry Hinton Rd and vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4/4/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4/4 and 8/4/26.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas service relay & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 8/4/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 7/10/27 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 8/4 & 9/4/26.
