What is happening?

AND POOLE COUNCIL

MARKET CLOSE, POOLE – PARKING SUSPENSION

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT: No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time

WHERE: Market Close from the property boundary of Nos. 12/14 to the property boundary of Nos. 19/20

WHY: This is to facilitate utility maintenance works by SSE

WHEN: Anticipated dates: 12th April 2026 until 23rd April 2026

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
