What is happening?

SANDBANKS ROAD & SALTERNS WAY, POOLE – PARKING SUSPENSION
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT AND WHERE:
No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (suspension of parking bays) -
Salterns Way, parking bay opposite No.2 Salterns Way
Sandbanks Road -
• Parking bays outside Nos.254-262 Sandbanks Road
• Disabled parking bay outside No.264 Sandbanks Road
• Parking bays outside Nos.278-288 Sandbanks Road
WHY: To facilitate sewer lining works by Wessex Water
WHEN: Anticipated dates 7th April 2026 until 1st May 2026
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
