PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.1 SWINDON PARISH (PART) (PART) FROM

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 26/3/26 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following lengths of Public Rights of Way:

That length of Public Footpath No. 1 Swindon Parish (Part) from the junction of The Holloway for 350m in a south easterly direction until the junction with Public Footpath No. 0.79 Swindon Parish.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) to facilitate construction works at the Cadent Operational Gas Site. An alternative route is available and will be displayed on site. This route will be available from 30/3/26.

A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order will come into operation on 30/3/26 and will remain in force for a period of six months, or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 24/3/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along:

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the hydrant installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 13/4/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/5/26.
