ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 (BACK SKIRCOAT GREEN ROAD, SKIRCOAT GREEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Peter Duffy Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Skircoat Green Road from rear of No.309 Skircoat Green Road to the back of 311 Skircoat Green Road for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via St. Alban’s Road, Skircoat Green Road, Godfrey Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BULL GREEN, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by T E Beaumont & Son Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to proceed in the length of Bull Green from Bull Green to Bull Close Lane for a distance of approximately 36 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(FOLLY HALL LANE, CRAGG VALE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Folly Hall Lane from High Stones Road to Coppy Nook Lane/New Road for a distance of approximately 200 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via New Road, Sykes Gate, B6138 Blackstone Edge Road, B6138 Cragg Road, Scout Road, Sowerby Lane,
Acre Lane, Sowerby Lane, Pinfold Lane, Stocks Lane, Towngate, Dob Lane, Higham and Dob Lane, Steep Lane, High Stones Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(MARSH LANE, SOUTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Marsh Lane from junction with Marsh Delves Lane to No.33 Marsh Lane for a distance of approximately 46 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Norcliffe Lane, Sutcliffe Wood Lane, Walter Clough Lane, Whitley Lane, Law Lane, Bank Top, Common Lane and vice versa. Access for residents will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th April 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(SANDY GATE, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sandy Gate from junction with Birchcliffe Road/Wadsworth Lane to Sandy Gate Lane for a distance of approximately 460 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Lane Ends Lane, Billy Lane, Parrock Lane, Akroyd Lane, Keighley Road, Birchcliffe Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SANDY GATE LANE, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sandy Gate Lane from junction with Sandy Gate to Walker Lane for a distance of approximately 385 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Lane Ends Lane, Billy Lane, Parrock Lane, Akroyd Lane, Keighley Road, Birchcliffe Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(WALKER LANE, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Walker Lane from junction with Sandy Gate Lane to Martin Mill for a distance of approximately 130 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Lane Ends Lane, Billy Lane, Parrock Lane, Akroyd Lane, Keighley Road, Birchcliffe Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(PLOUGHCROFT LANE, BOOTHTOWN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ploughcroft Lane from No. 13 to No. 210 Boothtown Road for a distance of approximately 75 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Ploughcroft Lane, Bradford Old Road, Claremount Road, Boothtown Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th April 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
