1. THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (TROWBRIDGE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, TAXI RANK CLEARWAYS AND ON STREET PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2025 (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2026 (previously advertised as The County Of Wiltshire (Trowbridge) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Prohibition of Stopping, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2023 (Amendment No.3) Order 2025)

THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (PARISHES OF WEST WILTSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, PROHIBITION OF STOPPING, ON STREET PARKING AND CLEARWAYS) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2025 (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2026 (previously advertised as The County of Wiltshire (Parishes of West Wiltshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Prohibition of Stopping, On Street Parking and Clearways) Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment No.7) Order 2025)

Notice is hereby given that on 11 March 2026 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act of 1984”) and the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be as follows:

Order 1 – To amend the following restrictions in the Trowbridge Consolidation Order 2025 by revoking Map Schedule Nos ES27, ET24, EU30, EV30, EX25, and EY25 all dated 04/12/2024 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos ES27, ET24, EU30, EV30, EX25 and EY25 dated 23/03/2026 the effect of which will be as follows: To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:

Broadmead, Trowbridge – both sides – from its junction with Brook Road for a distance of 20 metres in a north westerly direction;
Brook Road, Trowbridge – north west side – from its junction with Bradford Road to a point 28 metres south west of its junction with Broadmead;
Huntingfield, Trowbridge – both sides – from its junction with Mascroft Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction;
Mascroft Road, Trowbridge – south side – from a point 15 metres east of its junction with Leap Gate in an easterly direction to its junction with Huntingfield; from a point 15 metres east of its junction with Huntingfield to a point 15 metres west of that junction;
York Buildings, Trowbridge – south side – from a point 27 metres east of its junction with Timbrell Street for a distance of 10 metres; from a point 73 metres east of its junction with Timbrell Street for a distance of 10 metres.

To make administrative changes to reflect the current No waiting at any time that is currently on the ground in College Road, Sycamore Grove (Eastern arm), Sycamore Grove (Western arm) and Sycamore Grove, please note that no changes will take place on the ground.

Order 2 – To amend the following restrictions in the Parishes of West Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2025 by revoking Map Schedule Nos EP29, FB31, FC22 and FD26 all dated 25/11/2019 and replacing them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos EP29, FB31 and FD26 and introducing new Map Schedules EM28, EM29, FC22, FC23, FC31, FD31 and FE26 dated 23/03/2026 the effect of which will be as follows:

To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of road:

HILPERTON: Horse Road, Hilperton – both sides – from its junction with Marsh Road for a distance of 17 metres in a south westerly direction;
Marsh Road, Hilperton – south west side – from a point 25 metres west of its junction with Horse Road to a point 25 metres east of that junction;
Marsh Road, Hilperton – north side – from a point 4 metres north west of its junction with Jacklins Close for a distance of 11 metres in a north westerly direction;
Marsh Road, Hilperton – both sides – from a point 20 metres west of its junction with Horse Road to a point 25 metres east of that junction.

NORTH BRADLEY: Church Lane, North Bradley – south east side – from a point 106 metres south west of its junction with Churchfields to a point 30 metres north east of that junction;
Churchlands, North Bradley – east side – from its junction with Church Lane for a distance of 25 metres in a southerly direction;
Churchlands, North Bradley – west side – from its junction with Church Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a southerly direction.

SOUTHWICK: Church Street, Southwick – south east side – from its junction with Wynsome Street to a point 10 metres north of its junction with The Mowlem;
Church Street, Southwick – north west side – from its junction with Wynsome Street to its junction with The Mowlems;
Wynsome Street, Southwick – north side – from its junction with Church Street for a distance of 17 metres in a south easterly direction;
The Mowlems – both sides – from its junction with Church Street for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction.

WEST ASHTON: Bratton Road, West Ashton – north side – from a point 30 metres north west of the school access to a point 19 metres north west of that access;
Bratton Road, West Ashton – north east side – from a point 13 metres south east of the school access for a distance of 6 metres in a south easterly direction;
from a point 34 metres past that school access for a distance of 6 metres in a southerly direction;
from a point 50 metres south east of the school access for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction;
from a point 73 metres south east of the school access for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction;
from a point 12 metres north west of its junction with East Town Road to a point 10 metres south east of that junction;
Bratton Road, West Ashton – south west side – from a point 12 metres north of its junction with East Town Road to a point 14 metres south of that junction;
East Town Road, West Ashton – both sides – from its junction with Bratton Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction;
Shepherds Drove, West Ashton – both sides – from its junction with Bratton Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction; from a point 33 metres north east of its junction with Bratton Road for a distance of 15 metres.

To introduce No waiting Mon–Fri 8.30am–9.30am and 2.30pm–3.30pm on the south west side of Bratton Road, West Ashton from a point 51 metres west of the school access for a distance of 110 metres in a south easterly direction.

To introduce No stopping on entrance markings Mon–Fri 8am–6pm (School Keep Clear) on the following lengths of road:

Bratton Road, West Ashton – north side – from a point 19 metres north west of the school access to a point 13 metres south east of that access;
Church Lane, North Bradley – north west side – from a point 15 metres south west of its junction with Churchlands for a distance of 44 metres in a south westerly direction.

To introduce No stopping except taxis Mon–Fri 8am–4pm on the north side of Bratton Road, West Ashton from a point 19 metres south east of the school access to a point 34 metres south east of that access.

To amend the existing Parking 5am–8pm 1 hour No return within 1 hour to be amended to Parking 5am–8pm 30 mins No return within 1 hour on the north side of Frome Road, Southwick – layby outside Nos 70 and 70a Frome Road, a total distance of 23 metres.

To carry out an administrative change in Church Road, Hilperton to reflect restrictions on the ground (no changes to take place on the ground).

A copy of the Orders and plans may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 23 March 2026.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) C239 (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with A365 for a distance of approximately 310m in a southerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out installation of ducting and associated works. Alternative route via C239 (unaffected length) – C212 – B3107 – A350 – A365 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation at 07:00 on 13 April 2026 and the closure will be required until 17:00 on 08 May 2026. B) C155 (Part), Lacock; from its property known as Powneys Cottages for a distance of approximately 140m in a north easterly direction to enable Openreach Limited to carry out ducting works, pole replacement works and other associated works. Alternative route via C155 (unaffected length) – A342 – A3012 – A350 – C155 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 April 2026 and the closure will be required until 20 April 2026. For further information please contact Openreach Limited on 0800 023 2023.

C) Woodborough Close (Part), Trowbridge; from its property known as No.02 Woodborough Close for a distance of approximately 10m in a northerly direction to enable Openreach Limited to carry out excavation and installation of ducting to provide customer service. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 13 April 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. D) Cheyney Walk (Part), Westbury; from its property known as No.12 Cheyney Walk to its property known as No.14 Cheyney Walk to enable Openreach to carry out ducting and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 13 April 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 for 3 days. E) B3098 (Part), West Lavington; from a point 130m west of its junction with A360 for a distance of approximately 105m in a westerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out excavation of the carriageway to allow for the replacement of existing substation and other associated works. Alternative route via B3098 (unaffected length) – A350 – A36 – B390 – A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 April 2026 and the closure will be required for 3 days. F) Alfred Street (Part), Westbury; from its property known as No.17 Alfred Street to its property known as No.45 Alfred Street to enable Virgin Media to carry out ducting and associated works. Alternative route via Alfred Street (unaffected length) – B3098 – Bitham Park – A350 – Alfred Street (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 April 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 3 days. G) Seymour Road, Trowbridge; from its junction with Canal Road to its junction with Shails Lane.

H) Shails Lane, Trowbridge; from its junction with Seymour Road to its junction with Upper Broad Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route vehicles under 7.5t via B3106 and vice versa. Alternative route vehicles over 7.5t via B3105 – A361 – A363 – B3106 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 April 2026 and the closure will be required weeknights only between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 24 April 2026. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

I) B3095 (Part), Brixton Deverill; from its property known as The Old Rectory to its property known as Manor Farm Cottage to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route clockwise light vehicles under 7.5t via B3095 (unaffected length) – A350 – B3089 – A303 – B3095 (unaffected length). Alternative route anticlockwise light vehicles under 7.5t via B3095 (unaffected length) – A303 – A350 – B3095 (unaffected length). Alternative route HGVs over 7.5t via B3095 (unaffected length) – A350 – A303 – B3095 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 for 1 day. J) Bewley Lane (Part), Lacock; from its junction with UC 916904 for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out water main and associated works. Alternative route via Bewley Lane (unaffected length) – C155 – A342 – UC 956001 – UC 916904 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 23 March 2026 and the closure will be required until 27 March 2026. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 4600.

A) to J) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, VARIOUS PARISHES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (No.59) 2025 (REF TTRO 11153)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice. The Order which previously came into operation on 06 October 2025 will now recommence on 27 March 2026. It is required to enable carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated maintenance works. The Order has a maximum duration period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 5 days but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 27 March 2026 and 03 July 2026.

  2. Pitman Avenue, Trowbridge; from its junction with A361 for its entire length.

  4. Rock Road, Trowbridge; from its junction with A361 to its junction with Pitman Avenue.
  5. B3095 (Part), Longbridge Deverill, Brixton Deverill and Kingston Deverill; from its junction with A350 to its junction with C25.

Alternative routes (vice versa):

  1. via UC 896903 – C163 – C155.
    2/3/4 via A361.
  2. Light vehicles via B3095 (unaffected length) – A303 – B3089 – A350. Heavy vehicles via B3095 (unaffected length) – A303 – A350.
