BRIGHTON & HOVE (ROAD CLOSURE)
(BELLE VUE GARDENS) ORDER 2026 (TRO-27-2024)
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council (“the Council”) made the above-named Order on the 18th March 2026 under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which comes into force on 23rd March 2026. The effect of the Order will be as follows:
• Closure of Belle Vue Gardens at its southern junction with Eastern Road
The changes described above were originally the subject of Experimental Traffic Orders that were advertised on 23rd August 2024.
A copy of this Notice, the Order as made and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which this Order were made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
