What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(CRAIGLEITH DRIVE) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 - TEMP/26/40

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate the installation of footway build outs & traffic signs & improve pedestrian crossing points, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of Craigleith dr, from 42m south-west of the extended south-west kerbline of Blinkbonny Ave, south-westwards for 43m. The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Craigleith dr are: (i) Craigleith Dr, Craigleith Cres, Queensferry Rd & Craigleith Dr; & (ii) Craigleith Dr, Craigleith

Cres, Ravelston Dykes, Queensferry Ter, Queensferry Rd & Craigleith Dr. The Order shall have effect from 30/03/26 to 17/04/26.
