TEMPORARY ROAD
CLOSURE – U3508 LAUREL
PARK, COLERAINE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Department, acting in pursuance
of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(NI) Order 1997, intends to close temporarily to traffic:
U3508 Laurel Park, Coleraine, from its junction with U3508
Screen Road to its junction with U3508 Strand Road.
The closure will be in place continuously from 08:00 on
Monday 23rd February 2026 until 18:00 on Friday 3rd April
2026 to facilitate construction of a new Storm Sewer on
behalf of NI Water.
Vehicles requiring access to lands or premises abutting the
closed length of road will be accommodated. Diversion routes
via Screen Road and strand Road will be signposted.
TEMPORARY ROAD
CLOSURE – U3339
BUSHTOWN ROAD,
COLERAINE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Department, acting in pursuance
of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(NI) Order 1997, intends to close temporarily to traffic:
U3339 Bushtown Road, Coleraine, from its junction with
U3508 Screen Road to its junction with U3508 Strand Road.
The closure will be in place continuously from 08:00 on
Monday 30th March 2026 until 18:00 on Monday 11th May
2026 to facilitate the renewed laying of Cables throughout on
behalf of NIE.
Vehicles requiring access to lands or premises abutting the
closed length of road will be accommodated. Diversion routes
via Dunhill Road and Drumcroon Road will be signposted.
TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT
– A2 DUNLUCE ROAD
PORTRUSH (BOTH
DIRECTIONS) AND B62
BALLYBOGEY ROAD
Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and
2 of Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland)
Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, in exercise
of the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the said
Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997,
proposes to impose the following temporary speed limit:
40 miles per hour speed limit, commencing on Monday 23rd
March 2026 at 00:01hrs and ending on Monday 6th April
2026 at 23:00hrs, From a point 250m NE of the entrance to
The Royal Court Hotel to a point 250m North of the junction with
Ballybogey Road on A2 Dunluce Road to a point 250m South
of the Junction with Ballybogey Road on A2 Dunluce Road.
Being satisfied that traffic should be restricted due to a
temporary Vehicle Restraint Barrier that must be erected to
facilitate the construction of a permanent upgrade to the
Vehicle Restraint System adjacent the Royal Court hotel on
the B62 Ballybogey Road. Traffic signs warning that the use
of the road is subject to the above speed limit restrictions and
to indicate the nature and extent of the restrictions will be
erected on the road in due course.
